An appeal to allow residents stay an extra week at Apollo House has been rejected by the High Court.

Earlier, residents began to return to the NAMA-owned office block, blaming unsuitable conditions in their new residencies.

Home Sweet Home said that Housing Minister Simon Coveney didn't find suitable alternatives like he promised.

Before the verdict was announced, protests took place outside Apollo House, calling for better conditions for the homeless in Dublin.

Occupiers have been ordered to leave Apollo House immediately.
