After almost 9 years in prison, OJ Simpson has been granted bail and will be released from prison in October, according to Reuters

His freedom was granted by 4 members of the Nevada Board of Parole Commissioners.

OJ will leave prison on or after October 1st.

He was imprisoned after he was found guilty of armed robbery in 2008, when he and associates broke into a Las Vegas casino hotel room.

Previous to this, he was found 'not guilty' of murdering his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman after they were found with stab wounds in 1994.
