Gardaí say there's been no arrests made yet after the latest gangland murder in the capital.

27 year old Derek Hutch was shot dead near Wheatfield prison in Clondalkin on Saturday.

It's understood he was sitting in his car when he was shot shortly after three o'clock at the Bridgeview Halting Site in Ronanstown.

Emergency services were called to the scene and worked on the victim but he died a short time later.

He's the 14th victim of the Kinahan/Hutch feud.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to contact them at Ronanstown Garda Station.
