A year on from her Bellator debut Sinead Kavanagh is back at 3 Arena this Friday night to take on France’s Maria Casanova. Fighting out of John Kavanagh’s SBG Sinead is hoping to get her career back on track after consecutive defeats to Iony Razafiarison and Arlene Blencowe.
Last year at BAMMA 22 she showed the talent that saw her signed up for BAMMA’s first female mixed martial arts fight, winning by knockout in 17 seconds against Turkish fighter Hatice Ozyurt.
The five-time national boxing champion spoke to Spin Talk about turning her back on boxing, working with John Kavanagh, making weight, trash talk and supporting women in MMA.
