Dublin City Centre is currently at a standstill as over a thousand people are taking part in a protest to highlight the current housing crisis.
The 'Take Back the City' march is part of a 'Day of Action' and is the largest of a number of events taking place around the country.
At the moment, demonstrators are sitting on O'Connell Bridge, blocking both the North and South Quays by O'Connell St and Westmoreland St.
As a result, delays on the North Quays are back to Ormand Quay while on the South Quays, traffic is back to George's Quay.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
