Several people have been injured after a car ploughed into pedestrians near London's Natural History Museum.

Police have now said the incident is not being treated as a terrorist attack "at this stage".

Police say it happened in Exhibition Road in South Kensington, just after two-twenty this afternoon.

Videos have emerged of someone being pinned down by several people, and a mans been detained by officers.

The Natural History Museum have released the following statement:

"A vehicle has collided with pedestrians near the Natural History Museum entrance at Exhibition Road. The Museum's visitors and staff are always our first priority. We are working with emergency services to assess the incident and we are doing all we can. We will issue another statement in 20 minutes when we hope to be able to share more. Our priority right now is peoples' safety."
