Following on from 2015’s massively successful total of €192,000, the Belvedere schoolboys are in the throws of their Annual Sleepout and Fast. They've taken to the streets of Dublin from the 22nd-24th of December, with all funds raised going to the Peter McVerry Trust, Focus Ireland and Home Again.

They've been keeping us posted via Twitter on the Belvedere Sleep-Out page and using the #sleepout16

Michael Walsh, one of the student organisers, said “We’re not trying to replicate homelessness, only offer an insight and raise awareness of the issue, and hopefully some money in the process”

The entirely student run event sees over 80 students taking part, sleeping under the GPO
in O’Connell Street and collecting continuously for three days across the city.
