Seven teenagers have been rescued from Sandymount Strand this afternoon.
It's after they got into difficulty while walking on the beach.
The group of students became stranded on the beach when they were surrounded by water, while out walking.
The Dun Laoghaire RNLI were called to the scene after one of the group had raised the alarm.
The Irish Coast Guard helicopter Rescue 116 from Dublin was also tasked.
The group were taken safely onboard and escorted back to dry land by helicoter.
