1. Saudi Arabia has announced plans to lift its ban on female drivers. The royal order is due to be implemented by June 2018. It is the last country in the world to have the law. 

2. Brendan Dassey could be released from prison this week. His case is due back in court today with a judge set to consider whether he was tricked into confessing to the murder of Teresa Halback. 

3. Boys are twice as likely to cheat on the Leaving Cert. Figures released by the State Examinations Commission show that 74% of those who had their results withheld were male.

4. Twitter could be set to double its 140 character limit in a bid to boost growth on the platform. A trail is being rolled out to a small number of users from today. 

5. And finally, Floyd Mayweather has an 8-foot portrait of Conor McGregor in his home. The giant painting hangs on one side of a door with an equally large portrait of Mayweather on the other side.
