1. The numbers of people using the Leap Card has risen by 645 thousand. There's been two million cards sold since the scheme was introduced in 2011. 

2. 9,000 Irish fans applied for tickets to Ireland's World Cup Qualifier against Wales in Cardiff and over 6,000 were unsuccessful. Only 3,500 tickets were made available for the October game.

3. Michael Healy Rea has called for the Army to tackle a flower issue in Kerry. He said that rhododendron are covering a third of the Killarney National Park. 

4. Mariah Carey is being sued by choir singers that she hired to perform with her in 2016. She is accused of changing her mind last minute and cancelling the performers who were due to join her for a number of concerts in New York in 2016. 

5. And finally, JLS are making a comeback. Next year will mark ten years since the band formed on XFactor and the members want to reunite to mark to occasion.
