1. Ibrahim Halawa's lawyers are working on bringing him home to Ireland after four years spent in an Egyptian prison. He was as acquitted yesterday of all charges against him.

2. The Dublin football team were greeted yesterday by a massive crowd in Smithfield  to celebrate their All Ireland win. Sky Sport’s Jeff Stelling and Chris Kamara were spotted cheering on their three in a row victory in pubs around the city centre.

3. Niall Horan bought pizza for fans he spotted camping outside the Hollywood Palladium last night. He's set to play there tonight as part of the US leg of his Flicker Sessions tour.

4. Demand for taxi drivers is at an all time high in Dublin. Three drivers retired for every one new driver in 2016 and there are concerns of shortages in the run up to Christmas.
