1. An orange snow and ice weather warning will remain in place form the entire country until 12pm. Some areas will experience flooding today as the snow begins to melt.

2. All public transport services in Dublin are running this morning. However, passengers using Dublin Bus, Luas, Bus Eireann and DART services are advised to check their websites and apps for news of possible delays.

3. The 90th Academy Awards took place in Hollywood last night. The Shape of Water was the big winner taking home four while Gary Oldman won his first Oscar for his portrayl of Churchhill in The Darkest House. 

4. The trailer for season six of House of Cards was released during last night's Oscars ceremony. It will be the first season where Kevin Spacey will not appear. 

5. And finally, Bruce Willis has revealed that he's working on the sixth Die Hard movie. The 62 year old was 33 when the first film of the franchise came out in 1988.
