1. Game of Thrones has returned to our TV screens with a very familiar face. Ed Sheeran made his Westeros debut when Sky Atlantic aired the much anticipated first episode of season 7 at 2am this morning to coincide with the American screening. If you weren't up with the die hard fans you can catch it at 9pm tonight.

2. Hozier and Jack Garret joined Mumford & Sons on the Longitude main stage last night for an impressive closing set to the Marlay Park festival. Catch up on yesterday's highlights here.

3. The Dublin football team have been named Leinster Champions following a win against Kildare in Croke Park yesterday. This marks the 7th win in a row for the boys in blue with the final score Kildare 1-17 Dublin 2-23.

4. This week will see temperatures hit 27 degrees across the country but don't get too excited we're getting rain from Wednesday.

5. And finally, you can now go to college to become a social media star. A Chinese university near Shanghai is offering a course in Social Media Influencing with modules like Make-up Modelling, Fashion and Aesthetic Ability and Network Marketing.
