1. Ryanair will be contacting all passengers affected by flight cancellations before 5pm today. 22 Dublin routes will be removed from the schedule per week between November and March 2018. Ryanair will be offering compensation in return. 

2. Former Ireland striker Kevin Doyle has been forced to retire at 34. The footballer announced on Twitter that due to multiple previous concussions heading the ball has become an issue for him. Over his career he earned 63 caps for Ireland. 

3. Tropical storms Maria and Lee are set to reach Ireland this weekend. It's the west coast that is said to get the brunt of the weather and although rain is on the way the storms will bring warmer weather. 

4. Beyoncé has collaborated with Willy William and J Balvin on a remix of Mi Gente release this morning. All proceeds from the song will be donated to hurricane relief charities working in Puerto Rico and the other affected Caribbean Islands.

5. And finally, experts have revealed that the length of time that you should spend washing your hands. Singing Happy Birthday twice is the recommended amount of time to get rid of all the germs.
