1. A suspected crystal meth lab was discovered in Walkinstown last night. €450,000 worth of drugs were seized and a 50-year-old man was arrested.

2. The government has been criticised today for allowing more than 200,000 homes to sit empty despite there being more than 8,500 people homeless across the country.

3. Conor to return to the UFC this year. McGregor hasn’t really done anything since his boxing match last summer. The Notorious hasn't fought in the promotion since November 2016. 

4. There are plans to build a bridge between Scotland and Ireland. What's being dubbed the 'celtic bridge' could cost €17 billion and is still at discussion stages.

5. And finally, a supermarket in France had to call the police last night to break up customers who were fighting over reduced price Nutella.
