Rihanna and Drake
They first collaborated for What’s My Name in 2010 (can we believe that was 7 years ago??) – we’ll forever thank Rihanna for making bright red hair a thing. To this day, no dancefloor remains empty when this song comes on.
They came together again in 2011 for Take Care – a completely different sound but equally epic track. The video for this was also when we realised this pair weren’t acting – the Rihanna/Drake chemistry was real!
2016 saw not one but TWO chart toppers from this pair – Work and Too Good. They were just that –TOO GOOD. We’ll never be sick of them!
Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj
This pair first came together with Jessie J also thrown into the mix for BANG BANG. As far as trio songs go (there aren’t too many), it worked – with their VMA performance being one of the best ever!
Ariana and Nicki came together again in August 2016 for SIDE TO SIDE and we still can’t get it out of our heads. The music video, the outfits, the sass. AMAZING!
Beyonce and Jay Z
This pair are meant to be in EVERY way. They’re musical chemistry was so insane, they just had to get married, have a little girl and get pregnant with twins. They’ve done dozens of collaborations but here are our favourites.
Throwing it back to 2003, they stole our hearts with CRAZY IN LOVE.
They upped the anti with DRUNK IN LOVE – so much so that the song was banned from a british radio station.
And just last week, the pair dropped SHINING – the day after the Grammys. It’s produced by DJ Khaled and is EVERYTHING.
