The unions at Irish Rail have called off strike action.

Members will be balloted on the recommendations of the Labour Court, which are that workers get an annual pay increase of 2.5% for the next 3 years and that they get a €500 voucher this December.

It means trains, including the DART, will be running for the Ireland vs. Denmark World Cup play-off at the Aviva on Tuesday.

In a statement, Irish Rail say they have "welcomed the suspension of further industrial action by our trade unions".
