Daphne: I need a break. My feet hurt.

Velma: Well, is it our fault you wore high heels on a hiking trip?

Daphne: At least I try to look feminine!

Velma: (shocked)

90's kids will remember getting out of bed on the weekend mornings and watching all sorts of cartoons.

One that always seemed to appear and re-appear was Scooby Doo along with his "meddling kids."

Daphne, the sassy red haired character, always had the unfortunate tendency to be kidnapped and/or endangered when the rest of the crew were investigating in the Mystery Machine.

Heather North, the voice of Daphne Blake, has passed away at her home in Studio City, California following a long illness back on November 30.

A family friend told The Hollywood Reporter of her death after the 71 year old voiced the Scooby Doo character for more than 30 years.

North took over the role from original cast member Stefanianna Christopherson.

Her death comes just 3 weeks after the announcement that Daphne Blake and Velma Dinkley will be in cinemas in 2018 for a Scooby Doo spin off.

She last voiced Daphne in 2003 and will be remembered at a memorial service in Studio City later today.
