Could this be his best one yet?

If you feel like you've been lacking in some new content from the nature legend, fear not, there's more in the pipeline.

The BBC, as part of their upcoming Natural History line-up, have announced a brand new doc, and we're LOVING the sound of it.

It will be a one-off special, and will be fronted by the man himself. It will investigate the life and death of the world's most famous elephant - Jumbo. (The one that inspired Disney's Dumbo, in case you didn't know.)

David and the crew were given exclusive access to Jumbo's skeleton, which resides at the American Museum of Natural History, and will delve into the history of the world's largest elephant to ever grace planet Earth.

We've no word yet on a release date, but we'll keep you posted on that one.

Attenborough's Blue Planet and Planet Earth are available to stream on Netflix while you wait.
