The Irish Are Taking Over The Golden Globes

Award Season is just around the corner with The Golden Globes getting under way in the early hours of Monday morning.

The Irish Talent is really racking up the nominations for the 74th Golden Globes. 

Ruth Negga, is nominated for her outstanding performance as Mildred Loving in Jeff Nichols' Loving. 

Colin Farrell, who has previously bagged himself a Golden Globe for In Bruges, is up for the best musical or comedy actor category for his role in The Lobster.

John Carney's musical, Sing Street is up for best comedy or musical. 

For the second year running, Caitriona Balfe is nominated for best actress in a drama series for her performance in Outlander.
