Three things to watch on TV this week:

1) The Child In Time, BBC One, Sunday at 9pm

A once-off, 90min drama starring Benedict Cumberbatch? Count us in! Based on Ian McEwan's novel of the same name, it follows the story of children's author Stephen Lewis whose four year old daughter Katy goes missing in a supermarket. The show picks up three years later as the couple try and get on with their lives.

2) First Dates, Channel 4, Monday at 10p

This is First Dates UK now, not the Irish version- it's back tonight for it's NINTH series if you can believe it. We always love the UK version of the show (which is the original) and the formula is guaranteed to be entertaining with a mix of cringe! In tonight's episode we see a couple with very mixed views on Brexit and Doreen whose husband left her after 46 years together.

3) Strictly Come Dancing, BBC One, Saturday at 6.25pm

The upside to the fact that the evenings are getting shorter and it's getting colder- Strictly is back on this week! Series 15 of the show kicks of this weekend- We met the contestants last week so will finally get to see them strut their stuff on Saturday. Among the line up is The Satuday's Mollie King, Gemma Atkinson (Emmerdale), Davood Ghadmi (Kush from Eastenders), Ruth Langsford (This Morning), Aston Merrygold (JLS), Alexandra Burke and Debbie McGee!
