Three things to watch on TV/Netflix this week:
1) High & Dry - Channel 4, Friday at 9pm
This new comedy series looks gas! It was created by Marc Wootton, an English comedian and actor who starred in 'High Spirits with Shirley Ghostman' and also in the 'Nativity!' film series. Wootton stars as a really annoying flight attendant who ends up saving a load of the plane's passengers during a plane crash. Even thought they all find him highly irritating, he did save their lives and now they are in his debt and all stuck together on a desert island.

2) Invitation to a Royal Wedding - TV3, Monday at 9pm
So while there will be a lot of people who 'don't care' about the Royal Wedding, I think we all secretly care a little about it and the spectacle it's going to be on May 19th. In this documentary presenters Trevor McDonald and Julie Etchingham take a look at past royal weddings and meet up with the florists, cake-makers and dress makers who are cetral to the big day. They'll also talk to Elizabeth Emmanuel who deisgned Princess Diana's increasingly creased wedding dress.
3) The Rain, Netflix from Friday
Who doesn't love a good survival thriller? This Netflix original tells the story of a group of survivors in Denmark, after a brutal virus wipes out most of the Scandanvian population. No prizes for guessing where the deadly virus comes from- you got it, the rain. So survivors have to come up with ways to avoid the rain, namely legging it to a bunker. This could be your new binge series.
