Three juicy shows to get stuck into this week!
We all love a good TV series about weddings- the panic, the drama, the romance....so we are obviously delighted with this new RTÉ series. It tackles the age old question- to have your wedding at home and risk the bad weather, or whisk everyone away for a holiday in the sun. In tonight's episode Peter and Kate have to decide if they want to have their wedding at home in Peter's dairy farm, or on a beach abroad. Wedding planners Tara Fay and Bruce Russell try and help the couple decide by planning two weddings which they have to choose from.
This is a brand new comedy series created by Idris Elba, who also stars in the show. Set in 1980's East London the story is loosely based on Elba's own childhood. It tells the story of Walter and Agnes Easmon who moved to London from Sierra Leone 13 years previously. They are living a peaceful live until Walter's younger brother moves to London- he's like a fish out of water trying to adjust to London life. We love a good throwback comedy series and this is already getting rave reviews.
This is the second series of Netflix's adaption of Lemony Snicket's much loved children's books. If you were a fan of the first series you'll love this one starring Neil Patrick Harris as Count Olaf- who is still trying to track down the Baudelaire orphans to steal their fortune. Will their luck improve this series? Eh, probably not.
