Three programmes to get stuck into this week!
1) We Won The Lotto, RTÉ 1, Monday at 9.35pm
It's something we all wonder about, but rarely get to hear anything about- what's it actually like to win the Lotto?! Most winners in Ireland prefer to remain anonymous so we really don't know much about what Irish winners get up to- in this two part series though we'll heard first hand stories of how winning has changed people's lives - in positive and negative ways.
2) The Young Offenders, RTÉ 2, Thursday at 9.30pm
We cannot wait for this series to kick off! Following the success of the movie in 2016- the Young Offenders aka Chris and Jock are back in a six part TV series. Based in Cork, the series picks up at the same point of the movie but tells a different story, according to the creators the series will be like a 'prequel' to the movie.
3) Damnation, Season One- Netflix, Now!
This brand new netflix series landed on Friday and stars former Love/Hate star Killian Scott. It's a drama series, about the secret history of the 1930's American heartland. It centres around the mythic conflict and struggle between big money and the downtrodden. Killian plays Seth Davenport, a man masquerading as a small-town Iowa preacher, in hopes of starting a full-blown insurrection against the status quo. It's already gone down well Stateside, we can't wait to see it!
