Here are three programmes to get stuck into this week.

1) Ireland's Got Talent - Semi Finals Wednesday at 8pm, Thursday at 8:30pm and live final on Saturday from 7:30pm

It's crunch time! The first live semi-final took place last night and saw Dublin singer Linda McLoughlin and dance troupe FKNT reach the finals. After seven weeks of auditions, the three semi-finals run this week before the grand finale on Saturday. Eight more acts will perform in Wednesday night's semi-final where another two will be sent through, along with two more on Thursday. The six remaining acts will perform in Saturday night's grand finale, with the winner taking home the €50,000 prize and their own one-off special on TV3.

2) The Defiant Ones - On Netflix from Friday

This four-part documentary from HBO charts the rise and success of Dr Dre and Jimmy Iovine from their early days until forming Beats 1 together. It looks at both men's careers and the rise of rap in the late 80s, the growth of the music industry in the 90s and finally, Apple's multibillion-dollar acquisition of Beats by Dr Dre in 2014. It'll hear testimonials from the men themselves and other players in the industry including Eminem, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Bruce Springsteen, Will.i.am and Gwen Stefani.

3) Sport Relief - Friday at 7pm - BBC One4

The BBC’s annual sporty fundraiser brings a mixture of heart-rending case studies and wild madness. This year's highlights include a footballers’ Strictly, celebrity boat racing. live music from Kylie Minogue and a prize fight between Vanessa White and Hannah Spearritt.
