It's another week packed full of great television. Here's our roundup of the shows you cannot miss this week.

1) Star Trek: Discovery, Netflix from Monday

This brand new series comes over ten years since a Star Trek series graced our screens- the last Star Trek: Enterprise ended in 2005. This series is set the decade before the original Star Trek series and explores "a new ship, new characters and new missions, while embracing the same ideology and hope for the future that inspired a generation."It stars Sonequa Martin Green (The Walking Dead) as first officer Michael Burnham.

2) The Vietnam War, BBC4 Monday at 9pm

For anyone who loves history and documentaries, you'll love this. This is a ten part series by Ken Burns, an award winning American filmmaker. This series takes an in depth look at the Vietnam war, America's role in it and breaks down exactly what happened during the war and post war in Vietnam. Ken Burns also says the Vietnam War is key to understanding America the way it is today.

3) The Graham Norton Show, BBC 1 Friday at 10.35pm

Yes! We are so excited that Graham Norton is back on our screens this Friday- they had become quite lonely without him! This Friday marks the 20th anniversary of his first show airing, a milestone for the presenter. Speaking about the anniversary, Graham said “I never thought I’d still be doing the show, let alone be genuinely excited about it, two decades later. But there’s always a thrill about it because no matter how much you plan an episode, you can’t predict how it’s going to unfold.” This week Graham will be chatting to Margot Robbie (promoting Goodbye Christopher Robin), Reese Witherspoon (promoting her new rom com Home Again) and Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling will also be on the red couch chatting about their new movie Blade Runner 2049. Welcome back Graham!
