Taylor Swift signed her first record deal at age fifteen with Scott Borchetta, the founder and CEO of 'Big Machine Records.'

Now, over a decade later, her time with them is coming to an end. Her contract with the label is due to expire in November.

According to The Daily Mail, the label has Taylor Swift to thank for the majority of its success.

The singer is currently allowed to speak with other record labels but cannot officially sign with anyone else until her contract with 'Big Machine Records' is up in November. That's according to Variety.

Big Machine Records currently own the rights to Swift's master recordings. Predictions are being made that Swift will keep the rights to her master recordings in her next deal.

A music business top lawyer told variety;

 ''Taylor Swift is at an extraordinary point in her career where she can write her own ticket in regards to the commercial terms and deal structure. If she is seeking to break financial records and extend with a major, she could have the biggest artist deal of the century so far. If she wants to be creative and choose an alternative structure for capitalization, she could create her own business model. It’s very exciting.''

We're looking forward to seeing what's next for the star!
