Taylor Swift Is The Most Followed Celeb On Social Media

Regardless of what's going on with her love life, there's no doubt that Taylor Swift still has a massive following.

The most followers on social media, in fact.

According to Digital Spy, data collected by Apple Tree Communications shows that female pop stars attract the biggest fans, with Taylor leading the way with 246 million followers across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

She's closely followed by the exception to the rule, Cristiano Ronaldo, who has 238 million.

Following the top two is Taylor's arch-nemesis Katy Perry with 219 million, while Selena Gomez (204 million) and Rihanna (190 million) round out the top 5.

It just goes to show, the girls are better at social media-ing than the boys are, as there's no sign of the likes of Justin Bieber in the Top 5, for example.
