Last week it emerged that Simon Cowell had fallen down the stairs in his home and was pictured being stretchered out in a neck brace.
This led to Cowell missing both live shows of the X Factor on Saturday and Sunday.
The music mogul has now opened up and revealed the reason behind the fall.
Speaking to The Sun, Simon explained how that low blood pressure led to the tumble.
He said "They think I fainted because I had low blood pressure and so I have got to really take good care of myself to sort that out. After all, I am a dad and have more responsibility than ever."
He also added: "Sometimes we get a reminder that we're not invincible and this was certainly mine."
Simon explained that he had gone to some hot milk in the early hours of Friday morning as he wasn't feeling well and on the way back upstairs, got dizzy and "Next thing I know, someone was putting a neck brace on me and I had a terrible headache, which must have been from me hitting the stairs."
Cowell revealed that he is on the mend now and that he's lucky it wasn't worse.
