It's only taken 14 years but according to E! News, Nickelodeon have announced a 26 episode series return but it gets better. They have also announced a live action movie to follow!
The movie is set to be released on the 30th November 2020 and we just cannot get enough!
The very first episode of rugrats aired on the 11th August 1991 and the final episode aired on the 1st of August 2004.

According to E! News, Sarah Levy, COO of Viacom Media Networks and interim president of Nickelodeon said in a statement;
''Rugrats is hands-down one of the most celebrated cartoons in TV history, and we are thrilled for a whole new audience to meet these iconic characters in brand-new adventures."
If you're worried that perhaps it may not be as good as the originals, fear not, the original creators of Rugrats will be returning as executive producers on the new project.
