Is she playing mind games, or is Rita Ora serious when she says she simply can't be 'Becky with the good hair.'
Nonetheless, she has argued that she can't be the infamous woman who Beyoncé sang about in her 2016 track 'Sorry.'
Beyoncé famously sang about her husband's cheating saying:
"He only want me when I’m not there / He better call Becky with the good hair”.
Obviously those lyrics led to widespread speculation as to who this 'Becky' could be.
Speaking to with The Sunday Times, Rita Ora said:
"Hey, all I want to say to that is, dude, if I were Becky with the good hair, wouldn’t I actually have to have good hair?"
"Look at it. It’s all weave and extensions."
She added, "nobody can ever say anything wrong about that woman in front of me. I get emotional just talking about it."
