After 7 seasons and an end-game, it looks like two of the liars are coming back for more!
Back in June, PLL creator I Marlene King hinted that a new TV project that she was working on could possibly link back to the original hit series and the ladies in Rosewood.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Freeform has given out a pilot order to Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists, and two of the liars are coming back!
Sasha Pieterse and Janel Parrish are reprising their roles as Alison Di Laurentis and Mona Vanderwaal!
The Perfectionists is based on PLL's writer Sara Shepard's book. It follows the adventures of 5 high school students who bond over the mutual hatred of a school bully.
Karey Burke, Exec VP of Programming and Development at Freeform said 'Everything about the town of Beacon Heights seems perfect, from their top-tier college to their overachieving residents. But nothing in Beacon Heights is as it appears to be," Freeform's description of the series reads. The stress of needing to be perfect leads to the town's first murder. Behind every Perfectionist is a secret, a lie and a needed alibi.'
