Altered Carbon is a new ten-episode series coming to Netflix early next year.
Based on the 2002 book of the same name by Richard K. Morgan the story is set in a future where humans can upload their consciousness to new bodies, preventing death.
The series will follow the story of Laurens Bancroft, the richest man in the world, as he attempts to solve his own murder with the help of a disgraced police officer.
Stars include Joel Kinnaman (RoboCop, The Killing, Suicide Squad) and James Purefoy (The Following)
Altered Carbon premieres on Netflix on 2nd February.
