The Queen of pop Madonna is back with her 11th album ‘Hard Candy’, 25 years after she first appeared on our sound waves. Known for her continuous reinvention of herself, Madonna fails to create a new sound for this album.
Using the skills of the super producers, Pharrell Williams, Timbaland and Nate Hills. Works against Madonna as she begins to sound like other artists they have worked with such as Britney Spears and Gwen Steffani.
This is still a superb album with strong beats and catchy lyrics. Madonna still attracts youthful artists and in this album we see her collaborating with Justin Timberlake for the song 4minutes. This song has a futuristic beat and is great to dance to on a night out. The second single due to be released ‘Give it 2 me’ features Pharrell in the video and is a good upbeat tune, we just wish she wouldn’t bare so much in her videos. We know she has a great body for her age we just don’t need to be continually reminded
Madonna manages to keep making great hits with this album claiming the number one spot in 27 countries showing that no matter what she does she always does it right.
