Departure - Taio Cruz
Taio Cruz is a 23 year old singer, songwriter and producer from Sussex. He has already won a brit award for his contribution on ‘your game’ for Will Young. He has developed his skills as a producer by working under the wings of super successful producers Dallas Austin and Timbaland.. Taio produced, wrote and performed all the songs on his debut album
His first two singles on the album failed to make much of an impression with ‘I just wanna know’ reaching no.29 in UK charts and the 2nd single ‘moving on’ doing only slightly better by reaching no.26 on the UK charts. It was his third single ‘Come on girl’ that guranteed success for him. With its upbeat dance tune it made its way into the UK top 10.
The Album doesn’t continue on the upbeat theme though with slow jams taking over most of the album. Dealing with the highs and lows of relationships
‘I can be’, is Taio Cruz latest release. Its got a slower beat but is a great song with a memorable tune. Check out below and see what you think.
