Orson are back with their second album ‘Culture Vulture’. This is the follow up to their multi-platinum winning debut album ‘Bright Idea’. The band from the west coast of America found success in the UK charts with their extremely catchy single ‘No Tomorrow’ which grabbed the number one spot. They went on to win a Brit award that year for Best International Breakthrough Artist., so there were high expectations for their next album!

 

The new album is full of upbeat, catchy pop songs with rock rifts thrown in. Not much has progressed since their last album with the same sound being produced. Despite this, it is a good sound with many appealing songs. This new album has more of an English influence in it as the boys have been living over here. Their song ‘northern Girl’ reflects this. Orson have also written the song ‘Gorgeous’ whose lyrics are bound to keep all their female admirers happy.
