It's a battle of the sexes and they're playing dirty. Joy (Diaz) fleas to Las Vegas after the love of her life dumps her. Jack (kutcher) is fired from his father’s business and takes time out with his friend Hater in the same hotel. A hotel mix up becomes the start of a very drunken night after which Joy and Jack wake up to find themselves combined in matrimony.
The two wish to separate immediately but after one of them wins a jackpot worth 3 million dollars they both try to get they’re hands on the money. The case is brought to court where they are told they must try to work things out and stay married for 6 months. The pair are made see a marriage councilor played by queen Latifah.
The story is a light romantic comedy following the story of a couple caught up in ridiculous circumstances, and falling in love.
