Will Smith plays Hancock, an alcoholic superhero. He always manages to save the day but always causes more destruction doing it. The people of Los Angeles are grateful that he rescues them but can’t understand the unnecessary destruction he causes.

 

It is not until he meets and rescues PR executive Ray Embrey, that Hancock realizes that he has a vulnerable side. Together with Ray, they set about changing the publics opinion of him and gives him an new superhero outfit along the way.

 

The only person standing in Hancock’s way is Ray’s wife Mary who doesn’t want to have anything to do with him believing that he is a lost cause. Will Hancock be able ti change her mind?
