A man was arrested in Orlando on Saturday night after it was discovered that he planned to kidnap Lana Del Rey.
43 year old Michael Hunt from Florida was arrested a block away from where Del Rey was scheduled to perform over the weekend.
At the time of his arrest, police found that he was in possession of tickets to the concert and had a knife.
The Orlando Sentinel (an American newspaper) reports that Hunt frequently used his Facebook page to profess his obsession with Del Rey.
Only last week, he posted this message on his page:
"I want to see my queen on Friday and from that day forward our decisions will be as one."
In addition to that post, he posted a 17-minute video that also touched on various conspiracy theories.
"I'm going to probably finish out her tour with her, obviously, and dance and talk and figure out what we're going to do."
