Charlie may have only lasted 5 days on the show, but we could be seeing more of him on our screens.
According to the Daily Mail, Charlie could be returning to the villa, following his short stint. He was dumped from the island on Friday night alongside his partner Hayley Hughes.
Speaking on ITV's Lorraine yesterday, Charlie admitted that he was 'gutted' to leave the island, and admitted that things aren't going well between him and Hayley at all.
A TV insider spoke to The Sun, and said that it may not be the end for Charlie. 'Charlie was a hit with viewers and behind the scenes everyone thinks it's really unfortunate he had to leave. There's been a lot of talk about how he could possibly make a comeback – just like Mike Thalassitis did in last year's series.'
However, the source did say that there are no plans at the moment for Charlie to go back in, but never say never. The show has just entered its third week out of eight, so there's still plenty of time.
Charlie and Hayley appeared on ITV's This Morning yesterday, and the pair couldn't even sit on the same couch they were that furious with each other. Things are as 'frosty' as ever...
