Louis Tomlinson has spoken out and given his opinion on Justin Bieber's decision to cancel the remaining dates of his Purpose World Tour.

Bieber had 14 shows left to play, when he decided to call it quits due to 'unforseen circumstances.' It appears he has the backing of Louis on the matter, to a certain extent.

Louis was doing some promotion stateside, and did an interview with New York based radio station 92.3 Amp Radio.

Louis was asked 'What is the right thing to do?' Louis answered 'I think, obviously, you have to be in a good position mentally. But I also think to a certain degree, when you're signing up for something you should see it through.'

No stranger to long tours on the road, Louis said that it's his fans that get him through it.

'There is never enough that I can say or do for the fans. I think people can forget that, to be quite honest. At the end of the day, it's the people who are buying the records that are putting you where you are.'

Bieber has since apologised to his fans for cancelling the remainder of the tour. He's currently enjoying some down time and has a rumoured new love, model Audreyana Michelle.
