Following sexual advance allegations that have been made about actor Kevin Spacey, the Emmy Awards Organisation have announced that he won't be receiving an award in a few weeks time.

The House of Cards actor was due to be presented with the Founders Award at the 45th International Emmy Awards Gala on November 20 in New York City.

However the organisation have released a statement saying this will no longer happen "in light of recent events."

The announcement comes after Star Trek actor Anthony Rapp claimed that House of Cards star Kevin Spacey made a sexual advance towards him in 1996.
