Kelly Ripa has lashed back at a fan online for saying she looks too old to be dating Riverdale's Mark Consuelos regardless of the fact that they are both the same age; 47.
It all started when Consuelos posted a picture to Instagram promoting the, 'He For She,' campaign.
He captioned the post, ''Now more than ever...We should want to live in a world where we’re all equal. That’s why I’m partnering with @HeForShe - to champion real change in gender equality.''
His wife commented on the picture writing, "You make me proud @instasuelos."
According to E! News, a fan responded, "@KellyRipa yes he is so handsome but you need to go Kelly you look to old for him. Sorry but you do."
The gramatical error prompted Ripa to respond with, "You need to learn how to spell the word too sweetie. As in you're too stupid to be with my young, handsome husband.''
She then ended her comment with, "Ps, he likes proper grammar as well you dope."
It seems Ripa, however, is not the only one facing backlash online.
According to E! News, Consuelos also hit back at a user on the same post when they wrote, "I'm done following you."
Consuelos responded, "You don't support equal pay for women? I think, by your profile pic that you are a woman. I assume you have a daughter or granddaughters? Do you think they should be paid equally?"
