JK Rowling does and says what she likes, and that didn't change over the Royal Wedding weekend.

While we were all glued to Prince Harry's and Meghan Markle's big day at Windsor Castle, the mastermind behind Harry Potter nailed US President Donald Trump with a simple but effective tweet.

The caption simply read: "Love>Hate."

The picture on the left hand side is the thousands of well-wishers who lined the Long Walk up to Windsor Castle for Saturday's wedding, while the one on the right is a snap from Donald Trump's inauguration in 2017.

It's clear there is a big difference in the numbers who attended the events, but regardless of official numbers, it's clear what JK Rowling meant.
