Nothing was off limits last night during Jimmy Kimmel's opening monologue at the 90th Academy Awards.

Jimmy, who also hosted last year, kicked off the show by referencing the blunder that happened in 2017 - when La La Land was accidentally crowned Best Picture, when in fact, Moonlight won, leading to a very awkward encounter on stage that people are STILL talking about 12 months on.

Jimmy joked 'This year when you hear your name called, don’t get up right away. Just give us a minute.'

Jimmy initially said that he wouldn't joke about the Me Too movement that is sweeping Hollywood and beyond, however, he did include a jab or two.

'This is how clueless Hollywood is about women. We made a movie called What Women Want and it starred Mel Gibson.'

Jimmy also addressed the movement in a serious tone too.

'If we can work together to stop sexual harassment in the workplace, women will only have to deal with harassment all the time every other place they go.'
