Snapchat star James Kavanagh popped into Spin Talk today with five gorge things to do in Dublin this weekend!

1) Dublin Chinese New Year Festival

Established in 2008, the Dublin Chinese New Year Festival (DCNYF) year-on-year celebrates, promotes and deepens the understanding of the Sino/Irish relationship. DCNYF is a Dublin City Council initiative and works closely with the Chinese Community in Ireland to present a diverse and exciting festival. In 2018, from February 16th to March 4th, the festival will celebrate The Year of the Dog and marks the 11th year of this internationally recognised festival. 2) Leinster VS Scarlets, Saturday @ The RDS

Experience the best in European rugby when Scarlets come to Dublin to take on our Boys in Blue. With a lot of our international stars back from injury, along with exciting young talent emerging from the Leinster Academy, it’s safe to say that we’ll be able to put our best foot forward against this Welsh side. Leo Cullen’s troops can expect a brutally physical encounter at their home grounds in Ballsbridge, and with impressive displays from both teams across the tournament to date, you can be sure this match will be one of the highlights of this season’s Guinness PRO14. 3) Aeriel Cirque, Exchequer Street starting now

Why not get up in the air? I've just signed up for a 5 week course and I cannot wait. More info: http://aerialcirque.org/adultclasses

4) Swan Lake @ The Abbey Theatre

From the imagination of one of Ireland’s foremost dance and theatre makers, Michael Keegan-Dolan, comes a magical adaptation of one of the most famous story ballets in the world, Swan Lake. With beautiful dancing and powerful imagery, this interpretation of Swan Lake is rooted in the Midlands of Ireland in a place where ancient mythology and the modern world collide. Performed by a company of 13 world-class performers including actor Mikel Murfi, this production is interwoven with story-telling, song and live music. Dublin-based band Slow Moving Clouds have created a new score which combines roots in Nordic and Irish traditional music with minimalist and experimental influences.
