It might be chilly, but there is still stuff going ahead this weekend! James Kavanagh has battled throught the blizzard to bring you his top 5!

1) Scene & Heard Festival @ Smock Alley Theatre (ends Saturday)

We believe that Art is supposed to REACH its audience. We believe that it is the prerogative of the work to sometimes not work. We also believe that the AUDIENCE should be instrumental to the development of ART. Is is for that reason that Scene + Heard was born. A festival of New Work across Music, Theatre, Comedy, Dance and Spoken Word genres. We asked the ARTIST to bring their most original, thought provoking, funny and heart wrenching ideas to our stages to inspire our AUDIENCES and to encourage them to give HONEST feedback on the work in development that they see. The largest Irish language festival in Ireland and around the world! Seachtain na Gaeilge (Irish Language Week) is an international Irish language festival, which is the most popular celebration of our native language and culture in Ireland and many other countries each year. There was an excellent festival again this year, with almost millions of people taking part in hundreds of events around the world. More info: https://snag.ie/
