Half of Irish people prefer to binge watch their favourite TV shows with their pet.
A new study from Netflix revealed a third of those surveyed turned to their furry friends for comfort during a sad or scary scene.
The research also discovered dog owners were more likely to choose an action show such as 'Narcos'.
Meanwhile, cat owners would rather take in an episode of 'Black Mirror'.
