Gwyneth Paltrow has described her ex-boyfriend Brad Pitt as "the best" for defending her against Harvey Weinstein.

Paltrow is one of the many women accusing Weinstein of sexual harassment. She has claimed that Weinstein made unwanted advances towards her when she was 22 years old and had just signed up to the movie Emma.

Speaking on 'The Howard Stern Show', Gwyneth said she told Brad who was her boyfriend at the time about the incident which lead to Brad finding Weinstein at the opening of Broadway's 'Hamlet' in 1995 and apparently say something along the lines of- "If you ever make her feel uncomfortable again, I'll kill you."

Gwyneth said: "It was the equivalent of throwing him against the wall, energetically," Paltrow added. "It was so fantastic because what he did was, he leveraged his fame and power to protect me at a time when I didn't have fame or power yet.

"He's the best."
