The first batch of performers for the 2017 Grammys have just been announced!

The awards, which take place on February 12th in the Staples Centre in Los Angeles are shaping up to be one incredible night. James Corden is hosting, that's enough of a reason to be excited!

Ten time Grammy winner John Legend is due to take to the stage.

Metallica have also been added to the bill.

Country singer Carrie Underwood will give viewers a jam on the night.

And finally, Keith Urban has joined the line up.

There's more performers due to be announced in the coming soon. Back in December, Meghan Trainor announced loads of the nominations for the 59th Grammy Award ceremony. Drake, Rihanna and Kanye West are among the top names - all with eight nominations. Beyoncé is leading the way with an insane nine nominations.

Will we see a performance from Queen Bey? Here's hoping!
